Program Description:

In this session we will examine multiple ways to define environmental films—eco-films if you will. Through film clips and discussion, we will explore how eco-disasters on the big screen—from oil fire (like Jarhead (2005)) to climate fiction films (like The Day After Tomorrow (2004)—might turn into spectacular images on a big screen that leave viewers struck more with awe than with concern.

19 seats available.
