Program Description:

Learn about the history of the Charleston Food Forest and the concepts of permaculture it demonstrates.  The Charleston Food Forest currently has 26 fruit and nut trees and more than 50 fruit bushes growing, along with many perennial vegetable plants. We will learn about permaculture and its benefits followed by a guided tour pointing out the many species of edible plants growing in the forest. Discover what you can grow in this region!
