Program Description: Explore the vibrant and imaginative world of collage in this interactive workshop, The Art of Collage. Guided by Jamie Willis—an experienced art educator with a master’s degree in art from EIU—you’ll gain inspiration from iconic collage works by artists such as Picasso, Matisse, Braque, Bearden, and others. In a fun and encouraging environment, you’ll have the opportunity to create your own unique collage using a diverse range of materials. No prior experience is necessary, and all supplies will be provided by the studio. Just bring your creativity and discover fresh ways to see and transform everyday materials into art.
